How does the hire process work?
1. Reserve your hire unit today by clicking on the submit button.
2. We will need your full name, address including the postcode, telephone number, email address and due date.
3. Your Miracle TENS will be dispatched 3 weeks before the due date via First Class Post. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery
4. If your due date is less that 3 weeks, we offer next working day delivery (please see delivery below) for £5.95, as long as your order is placed before 3.00pm Monday to Friday.
5. Your Hire period is for 5 weeks, If your baby is late please call us on 0870 803 3372 to request an extra week free. if you need the miracle TENS for longer than 6 weeks, there will be a charge of £5 for every week or part week over and above the hore period until the miracle TENS is returned.
Terms & Conditions of the Miracle TENS
1. Miracle TENS should only be used in accordance with the instructions provided and only by the Customer named on the contract.
2. The success of miracle TENS in labour is neither guaranteed nor warranted by Miracle Products Ltd.
3. Miracle TENS must not be used by anyone fitted with a cardiac pacemaker, who has a heart disease or suffers from epilepsy. If you have any concern whatsoever consult your medical advisor prior to use.
4. Miracle TENS must not be used until the pregnancy has reached full term (37 weeks onwards).
5. If the baby is late, the customer must phone Miracle Products on 0870 803 3372 to request an extra 7 days hire. This will be given free of charge.
6. Failure to return the miracle TENS at the expiry of this 37-day period will result in the Customer being charged £5 for each and every week or any part of a week over and above the hire period until the miracle TENS is returned. If the unit is not returned for any reason the Customer will be charged for that unit (see 8). All outstanding sums will automatically be charged to the Customer’s credit or debit card.
7. The hire unit must be sent back to Miracle Products Ltd at PO BOX 1205, Beaconsfield, Bucks, HP9 2GQ via a Post Office so as to reach this address by the end of the 37-day period by special delivery, or by obtaining a certificate of postage. The Customer must retain either of these certificates of postage for 3 months. In the event that the miracle TENS is not received at Miracle Products premises, the certificate of postage must be produced. Failure to do so renders the Customer liable for the full retail value of the miracle TENS unit.
8. In the event of damage to, or loss of the miracle TENS by the Customer, the full retail value less the hire charge is payable to Miracle Products by the Customer.
9. Non-use of the hired miracle TENS is entirely at the discretion of the customer and no refund will apply.
10. Miracle TENS are fully tested immediately prior to dispatch. However, the liability of miracle TENS shall not exceed the hire charge.
11. The Customer should check the contents of the hire pack upon receipt and familiarise herself with the miracle TENS and the instructions. The Customer must advise Miracle Products of any problems whatsoever immediately. Miracle Products accept no responsibility where the Customer fails to do so and renders it impossible for miracle TENS to take any corrective action.

How does TENS work?
Pads are placed on or near the area of pain. Soothing pulses are sent via the pads through the skin and along the nerve fibres. The pulses (controlled by the user at all times) suppress pain signals to the brain. TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) also encourages the body to produce higher levels of its own natural pain killing chemicals called Endorphins and Encephalins.

What is the history of TENS?
Stone carvings from the Egyptian Fith Dynasty in 2500BC depict an electric fish being used to treat pain. Present day TENS began after the landmark paper by Melzack and Wall 1965, - "Pain Mechanism: A New Theory." An enormous amount of scientific research followed, resulting in the therapy used today.

Contraindications: miracleTENS units must not be used by patients using a demand type pacemaker. Electrode pads should NOT be placed at the front or side of the neck. Units should NOT be used when driving or operating machinery.
Precautions : Pregnant women and patients who have heart disease or epilepsy should seek medical advice before using miracleTENS. NEVER use a miracleTENS or any other method of pain relief to mask undiagnosed pain as this could require urgent treatment.

Is delivery of my miracle TENS Free?
Yes - if you live in the UK.
If hiring, when do you send the miracle TENS unit?
We send the unit 3 weeks before your due date.
How long does it take to arrive?
All miracle TENS units are sent by first class post. However, please allow 3-5 working days for delivery.
Is There a Faster Service?
Yes - If your due date is less than 3 weeks away, this is a must. UK residents can order Next Working Day Delivery for an extra £5.95 as long as your order is placed before 3pm between Monday and Friday. (This service does not include weekends. Units ordered on Friday will arrive on Monday. Units ordered on Saturday or Sunday will arrive on Tuesday.)
I don't live in the UK. Can I still Buy a miracle TENS?
Yes! But you will have to pay a small shipping charge. (*our Hire scheme does not operate outside of the UK)
